Duality describes the artists differing approaches to storytelling. Genevieve's work suggest the absence of human presence by the traces left behind. David's photographic compositions capture people and their accoutrements in public spaces. Using a technique he terms "Molage", the stories of his subjects emerge in multiple images that show the progression of time within an architectural context. Williams uses everyday supplies and scavenged bits of discarded materials to create her work. These materials, already artifacts attesting to human existence, once transformed, suggest secret spaces and the shadows of lives lived.
